Peter Ridgway

Our senior partner Peter Ridgway was born in Wrexham. He is experienced in the preparation of Wills protecting assets from Inheritance Tax and long term care costs for our clients in addition to more straightforward Wills. He can offer advice to clients on Lasting Powers of Attorney and the appointment of a relative or friend as a Deputy to deal with the affairs of the mentally incapacitated. He can also deal effectively with the administration of estates and has gained extensive knowledge in the commercial sector dealing with partnerships companies leases and the sale or purchase of businesses. He can also assist with residential property transactions. Satisfied clients have returned to him time and time again.


Jacqueline Marsland - Partner

Jacqueline Marsland

Jacqueline Marsland joined the firm in 2004 following her move to the area. Qualifying in 1998 she has gained national accreditation from the Law Society having been appointed to the Law Society’s Family Panel. She can provide constructive advice in all areas of family law including divorce/dissolution of civil partnerships, financial matters, co-habitation and children matters. Jacqui is increasingly dealing with more high worth clients who appreciate her considerable negotiating skills. She can also advise couples of their rights when purchasing a home together or prior to marriage. In addition Jacqui is able to offer clients a Will preparation service and assistance in buying, selling or remortgaging their homes.


Francis Whitehead - Consultant Solicitor

Francis joined the firm as a Consultant Solicitor when Whitehead Woodward & Co was incorporated into the practice on 30th September 2010. Francis qualified as a solicitor in 1993 and has expertise in all property matters - domestic, commercial, freehold and leasehold and gained the prestigious Diploma in Land Registry Practice in 2007.

Francis is also able to advise both employers and employees on employment law issues.
